Luigi's Mansion 3DS Coming to October

Those who enjoyed Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will be excited to hear that the original Luigi's Mansion is returning to 3DS this October 12th.

Originally confirmed back in March, gamers can download the GameCube launch title that will include updated graphics, a map on the bottom screen, and a score attack boss rush mode called Gallery Battle Mode.

Luigi's Mansion is a prequel Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon which launched on the 3DS and received acclaim from both critics and fans. Unlike Dark Moon, the first game is much shorter and only features 1 mansion. However, the gameplay and atmosphere won over fans and the franchise became a cult classic. So much so that the Poltergeist, which debuted in Luigi's Mansion, has become a staple item for the green plumber.

Luigi's Mansion 3DS launches on October 12th for 3DS.
