In the recent weeks many of complained about Xbox Live’s many issues over many different social media channels. The frequent outages have prevented many gamers from accessing specific features from the paid service at unspecific times.

Major Nelson went to Reddit to explain to fans that compensation may be in order for the outages.
“I’ve taken some of the more thought comments and shared them with a few folks on the Xbox team to make them aware of this request. That’s about all I’ve got right now - but when I am back in the office I am going to stop by and chat 1:1 with some folks about this as well.”
Major Nelson was recently in NYC at the Microsoft store for the midnight launch of The Division and reported back to Seattle today.
Back in January when Sony’s Network was forced offline, in response Sony extended the service for all paid customers based on how long the service was made unavailable. Perhaps Microsoft will follow the same procedure.
What do you think, should Microsoft compensate customers for the recent outages?
