Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Tracking Above Expectations in Sales

Marvel Ultimate Alliance has been on hiatus since 2009 with the release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. The third game, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, just launched for Nintendo Switch and has been selling beyond expectations.

According to Benji-Sales, who tracks sales data, the Nintendo Switch exclusive title is a hit. While sales numbers were not disclosed Benji stated that it's in third place for best selling exclusive Switch game in 2019; behind Super Mario Maker 2 and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. These are also likely physical sales and not digital.

This strong reception could encourage multiple sequels.
