After a rough launch of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 for the PC many took their frustration out on the game's Steam page, flooding it with negative reviews. Now Activision has released a new patch as promised by Bill Rosemann from Marvel Games.
The patch fixes:
Controller mapping improvements that address both Xbox One and Xbox 360 buttons, triggers, and a problem specifically with the A button
General improvements to audio and fixes for the crackling sounds
Improvements to player invitations for Marvel Ultimate Alliance
UI updates and fixes for desync/disconnection issues when playing online
Most importantly the patch adds DLC from the second game for everyone to use. Activision is aware that the first game still has issues and plans to release a free update for all the DLC in the first game. Both updates will allow those who purchased the stand-alone game and bundle to access the DLC content.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 is now available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
