Mass Effect: Andromeda may get the Xbox One Scorpio treatment when the console releases later this year.
In an interview with Official Xbox Magazine BioWare's creative director Mac Walters of Mass Effect: Andromeda stated in an interview that an Xbox One Scorpio version is possible. This comes at a shock since producer Michael Gamble stated that there were no plans of bringing the game to Microsoft's next console.
“Given our Spring release date, I’m not sure exactly what we’re going to be able to support at that time, but we have a strong service plan for ME that will continue past our release date. If we do a Game of the Year edition, or a future edition or something like that, that’s something we’d definitely consider looking at, for sure.”
Mass Effect: Andromeda launches for Xbox One, PS4, and Origin PC on March 21st for NA and March 23nd in EU.
