Master Of Orion Release Date Announced

After a good six months spent in Early Access, Master Of Orion is ready to have its full version released. The remake to the 4X strategy classic will leave Early Access less than a week from now, on the 25th of August. The Standard Edition will be priced at $29.99 USD, or your regular equivalent, and will come with: 10 races, custom races, tactical combat, ship design, espionage, multiplayer, diplomacy and all available victory conditions.

The Terran Khanate race alongside the Retro Fleets pack, which brings back some 8-bit nostalgia, will not be included in the Standard Edition. To gain access, players will either have to buy the Collector's Edition that includes the previous 3 games in the series alongside the new release for $45.99 or buy the Standard Edition and upgrade to the Collector's at a later date (the option will also be available upon release). The developers have also mentioned that they will continue supporting the game with patches and new content after it exits Early Access.
