In addition to starring in a new Mega Man game, the Blue Bomber is expanding his career options to Monster Hunter. At the PlayStation Experience 2017, Capcom announced that Mega Man would be part Monster Hunter: World.
Compared to Sony's Horizon Zero Dawn Mega Man's presence is more substantial with players able to customize their cat-like companion, the Palicoes, who joins them on hunts to look like an 8-bit version of Mega Man. In addition to the avatar fans will see:
Sounds from the game when using specific weapons
This inclusion could interest fans of the Mega Man series to try Monster Hunter: World, especially since the beta will behind next week. The use of both the Horizon Zero Dawn and Mega Man series shows that Capccom is hoping that Monster Hunter: World will break expected sales.
Monster Hunter: World launches on January 26th, 2018 for Xbox One and PS4. A PC version will launch at a later date.
