Minecraft Console Editions Sales Pass PC

The popular indie title Minecraft has surpassed 54 million sold copies across all platforms according to Mojang's Patrick Geuder. Geuder added that the console versions (Xbox 360 and PS3) have now surpassed PC and Mac editions.
The game is now slated to arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PS Vita in August. Xbox One and PS4 owners will be able to download the next-generation version of the game for $5 if they own a copy on the Xbox 360 or PS3.
