Mirage: Arcane Warfare Removed From Sale, Official Servers Remain Online Until The End Of May

The GDPR regulations that came into effect today are part of the reason why Mirage: Arcane Warfare was shut down.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare, Torn Banner Studios' most recent title, is no longer available for purchase. In an announcement on their forums, the stuido have stated the following: "Mirage: Arcane Warfare will be removed from sale on Steam (and third party marketplaces) within the next week.  We have made this change in part due to the new European Union privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), that comes into effect May 25, 2018. We unfortunately have run out of options for keeping Mirage alive."

The title didn't manage to find and retain an audience, despite being given away for free for a day.

Official servers will remain online until May 31st, with players being able to host their public or private servers after that point. The studio's other titles, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior won't suffer any changes.

I reviewed Mirage: Arcane Warfare back in May of last year, and saw potential in it, as long as a playerbase would have formed around it.
