Since the release of Mega Man X8 the series has gone dormant, until now. With a new mobile title called Megaman X Dive.
Based on the X series players can take control of X or Zero, with the short teaser showing off stages from the franchise. The art does show Axl and he may become a playable character.
Some may be disappointed that this new installment in the X series is a mobile title but perhaps Capcom is testing the waters. Seeing if fans want a new game. However, those who want to experience the best of the X series can pick up Mega Man Legacy Collection on Xbox One, PS4, PC, or Nintendo Switch.
No release date has been provided.
