Today Naughty Dog released the latest trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Finally gamers got information regarding the game’s story but at the same time Naughty Dog accidentally used a piece of artwork from another company, specifically Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

I say accidentally because Neil Druckmann, creative director of Uncharted 4, immediately fixed the issue  and released a new trailer but not before making a public announcement.

“In our eagerness to get the story trailer out we made a regrettable mistake and didn’t throughly vet the art work used for an in game painting. We’ve already updated the trailer. We hold all artistry in high regard and take full responsibility for having allowed this happen. We want to sincerely apologize to everyone at Ubisoft, the Assassin’s Creed team, the original artist, and our fans.”

Good for Naughty Dog for admitting their mistake. Things happen and what’s important they took the steps to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End releases on PS4 April 26.
