Netflix Has Plans For A Nintendo Switch Release

The Nintendo Switch has had a phenomenal launch year, releasing some of the best games of 2017 and surpassing 10 million units sold before turning 1 year old. However, the console is still missing some key features such as the most popular streaming service Netflix. As of now, Nintendo hasn't released an official statement about Netflix coming to the Switch but Netflix did.

An original tweet stated that Netflix and Nintendo have no plans for releasing the application but since then the comment was removed.

The application is available on the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U so it does seem strange that the feature wasn't made available when the system launch. Currently, Hulu is available on the Switch so perhaps Nintendo and Netflix have more planned.
