Looks like Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age is getting more than the HD treatment

Final Fantasy 12 didn't receive the same level as acclaim as other games in the franchise but it still remains one of the best. Most cite the game's shortcoming due to its release at the end of the PlayStation 2's life but regardless has become a cult classic among most gamers, enough so that Square Enix decided to re-release an HD version called Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age. Square Enix has remained secretive with the project until now, with new footage. Shown was the iconic Gambit system that allows players to customize their AI companions for specific situations along with improved graphics.
The best new mechanic has to be the turbo mode which speeds up all aspects of the game. For those who've experienced Final Fantasy 12 this is a much-needed mechanic since the game revolved on you traveling through a series of small rooms. A similar mechanic was available in Final Fantasy XIII-2 when players obtained all the trophies in the game.
