New Hylian Shield 2DS XL is Stunning

Just when you thought Nintendo was done making special versions of their handheld consoles the company throws another one into the mix. This time modeling a 2DS console after Link's iconic Hylian Shield and including The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds as a special bonus.

The system will release at GameStop on July 2nd and cost $159.99. As you might expect, like other special-edition Nintendo consoles, this will likely sell out quickly. And given Nintendo's notorious reputation for not being able to keep up with demand if you want one you better pre-order it asap.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is now available 3DS.
