New Payday 2 Update Adds Microtransactions

Those looking to unlock certain cosmetic items in Payday 2 won’t be glad to hear that certain items through paid microtransactions.

Today Overkill introduced the Black Market update, which adds loot drop safes that can only be opened by using a purchased item. As you play players will earn safes, but to open these items a drill must be purchased in order to open it. No other way exist as of yet to crack these safes.

Payday 2 launched in 2013 with a myriad of updates following its release, adding new characters and heists for free.
