New Speed-run Friendly Mode Coming to Journey to the Savage Planet

Developers are becoming more aware of the desire to have a dedicated mode for speedrunning. With Typoon Studios introducing a new mode for Journey to the Savage Planet just for that called Old Game Minus.

In this mode, players are given a limited pool of lives. Lives can be earned in the world by collecting bobbleheads of Martin Tweed. In addition, the mode will have an in-game timer and indicate how many lives the player has.

Typhoon hasn't provided a date for when this mode will launch.

Journey to the Savage Planet is now available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
