Steep is not coming to Nintendo Switch

It a strange turn of events Ubisoft has canceled Steep for the Nintendo Switch. There was no official announcement, just an answer provided to a fan who asked about the state of the game.
On Twitter, a fan asked when it would be coming to the Nintendo Switch and the company replied.
Hey @RJISAGAMER! We are wholly dedicated to supporting the live game, and made the decision to stop Steep development on the Nintendo Switch platform to focus on bringing new live content and challenges to Steep players instead. We’ll have more exciting news to share soon.

Steep is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
