Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye Expansion Announced

Outer Wilds was a massive success, with many gamers loving the wild open space players can explore. Venturing into space and finding out what's out there. Now an expansion is coming this September 28th called Echoes of the Eye.

Mobius creative director Alex Beachum made an appearance with an update on the upcoming Switch release for Outer Wilds, which is planned for this holiday. But the even bigger announcement is that the game is getting its "first and only expansion" entitled Echoes of the Eye, which is planned for release on September 28.

The expansion will come to PS4, Xbox One, and PC but will release on Switch when the game launches this holiday 2021. The expansion will add The Eye, a major area with a time-looping structure. So expect some wild theories and streaming from the community.
