Outlast 2 Delayed to 2017
You'll have to wait longer for your horror fix

Those yearning for a classic horror video game experience will have to wait, Outlast 2 has been delayed to 2017.

Developer Red Barrels made the confirmation on their Facebook page.
"This is not the type of news we ever want to deliver, but we are so fully committed to the world we’ve built and to our awesome community that we could not, in good conscience, release a game who’s limits haven’t been tested to the extreme."
Currently the game doesn't have a solid release date but the developer is expecting a Q1 2017 release.
Red Barrel promises that the game will "scare the crap out of you" and if they deliver I'm sure many of us will forgive them for this delay. Don't let us down!
Outlast 2 is a sequel of the 2013 hit horror game Outlast which reached massive acclaim for delivering a classic horror experience where other modern games in the same genre fail to do.
You can pick up the original game on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
