Rocket League's free-to-play update is coming in a few weeks, with revamped Tournaments, new challenges, cross-platform progression, and more. Today, Psyonix revealed more specific information including that PlayStation Plus and Nintendo Switch Online will not be needed to play online.
PlayStation Plus on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch Online will no longer be required for online play on those platforms.
Other updates include Quick Chat options, new competitive ranks, and much more.
