Procedural RPG Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy Launches on PC on May 27

The long-awaited and ambitious open-world RPG, developed by Ludomotion and published by Big Sugar, will be released on May 27. Independent game Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy is a unique genre mix that has already been described as "the most inventive adventure game in years".

There was a year of Early Access for Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy before it was ready to be released in numerous stores. However, this is just the beginning of its growth. Patches and new material will be released if the developers and publisher support the game. Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions are also under development, and a release date will be revealed shortly for those platforms.

 

Open-world exploration and adventure await players in a gorgeous yet brutal, randomly generated universe. When they die, their world will remain, but things will alter as time passes and events take place. After their adventure, gamers will go all-in: either they succeed and preserve their planet, or they fail, and it is destroyed forever. This is the last stretch of their mission. Everything they've done in the game, including their progress, will be wiped clean. Even if a run is a failure, Unexplored 2 creates a whole new environment for the user to explore. Unknown biomes, various clans, and other challenges await you on this new planet.

For those looking for a challenging RPG with a tabletop feel, Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy is your game. "The most inventive adventure game I've played in years" is how PC Gamer described Unexplored 2, a game developed by Ludomotion, an Amsterdam-based company.

The 'Going Rogue' event on Steam begins on May 2 at 10 am. Pacific Time and runs through May 9 at 9 pm. Pacific Time features an Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer's Legacy demo (10 am PT). Procedurally produced worlds are available for PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic for $24.99, with a 10% discount for a short period. The game, artbook, and official music will be included in a Digital Deluxe Edition available on Steam.
