PS4 System Software Update 5.01 Released
New update for PS4 improves performance

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment made PS4 system software update 5.01 available on the PlayStation Network.
The update requires 374.7 megabytes of free space and the patch notes are quite small.
“The system software update improves system performance.”
keep in mind that this normally means that the performance of the operating system has been improved. This does not extend to games run by the console, so don’t expect improvement of frame rates in your favorite titles.
