Red Dead Online Getting New Emotes, Weapons, and Modes

The beta for Red Dead Online is continuing strong with a new update on the way. Coming this Tuesday, February 26th the update will bring new weapons, clothing, emotes, and balancing changes.

The update will add:

Fool's Gold Free roam even where players can compete and take control of Golden Armor. The person wearing the armor earns points for kills.

Competitive Challenges featuring fishing will be added

Showdown Mode will be added that allows players to compete to capture and deliver bags, steal loot, and survive.

The new weapons include the Evans Repeater rifle and Rare Shotgun.

New clothing and emotes include:

Diamondback Hat to the fur trimmed Rutledge Vest – is also on the way with new Outfits, Jackets, Boots, Coats, Gloves, Hats, Vests and more. In addition to all the clothing that will be available for purchase at your leisure, keep an eye on the shops and the Catalogue for unique special items that will come and go. A variety of new Emotes is also on the way – featuring everything from greets to reactions and taunts.

Those who play Red Dead Online this week will also earn 20% bonus experience while PS4 players will have early access to the Open Target Races.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available for PS4 and Xbox One.
