Remedy Entertainment Reveals Vanguard

Earlier today, Remedy Entertainment teased fans with a brand new reveal. While many were hoping for new footage of  Control, CrossFire 2, or the third mystery game instead the studio revealed Vanguard.

Vanguard isn't a game but a development team. The goal of this team was explained as follow.

Its mission is to challenge conventions and to prototype and ship new types of ongoing live multiplayer game experiences, alongside our established and growing core game development teams and the Northlight technology group.

This could mean that CrossFire 2 will ship with the live service model that is popular with Ubisoft.
