New patch for Resident Evil Village available now on Steam

After Digital Foundry's video on Resident Evil Village's questionable performance on PC Capcom has been adding new patches to the PC version to improve performance. The latest improving the Steam version to run better.

We are releasing a Resident Evil Village performance patch for Steam users on August 10th UTC, which will be addressing the following:

- Internal processing will be improved to optimize performance

The patch adds:

- Minor fine-tuning to FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR)

Resident Evil Village has sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide. Despite polarizing reception on the game's more action focus many fans were happy with the game's improved controls and deadly antagonists. It's currently one of the best games to launch in 2021 and a GOTY contender for many.

Resident Evil Village is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC.
