More companies are finding success in remaking existing games for modern audiences and fans of the original titles. With Capcom successfully remaking Resident Evil 2 Remake to critical and commercial success, and the upcoming Resident Evil 3 Remake looking to replicate that achievement. However, a rumor has surfaced that Capcom have another bigger remake in the works with support development studio of Resident Evil 3 Remake M-Two.

As reported by VGC, M-Two, which consists of employees who worked on the Mega Man series and ex-PlatinumGames programmers, is working on a larger project. This could be anything as Resident Evil is one of Capcom's biggest IPs. My guess is that it's Ghost and Goblins as the Mega Man series has had new installments that reuse the classic formula and Street Fighter V is still being supported so making a new game that would compete with their game wouldn't be ideal.

Resident Evil 3 2020 launches this April 3rd for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
