Rumor: Nintendo Switch 40% Faster When Docked

The Nintendo Switch allows people to take the device on the go and play games on their television using the docking station. However, according to a report on Digital Foundry the dock is more than a charging station and removing the Switch from it will cause a 40% decrease in performance.

Citing several unnamed sources the GPU speed changes dramatically when between the 2 modes. 

Now this is only speculation until the system becomes available to play on January 13th.
