Saints Row 2 is Now Backward Compatible on Xbox One

Saints Row 2 has turned 10 years old this year and to celebrate Microsoft is adding the game to Xbox One's backward compatibility list.

This means gamers can play the title, both physical and digital copies, on their Xbox One. 

It's been a while since a new Saints Row game has been released. With the last installment being the 2013 Saints Row VI and the spiritual successor Agents of Mayhem underperforming with critics and fans. Considering that THQ Nordic has been reviving older franchises such as deBlob and Nickelodeon titles it's likely we might see a re-release of these older titles in the future. However, don't expect anything at E3.
