Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has been circling around social media for a while now. Some for its incredibly difficult learning curve and others for its rewarding feeling of accomplishing the impossible. The numbers are in and FromSoftware's latest title has sold over 2 million copies in 10 days.

This number is based on internal estimates from Activision and FromSoftware.
“Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has brought something very special and unique to Activision’s portfolio of games,” said Michelle Fonseca, Activision’s Vice President of Product Management of the game’s early success. “It’s been an honor to work with FromSoftware to help introduce a brand-new franchise to gamers around the world.”
“The fans have made Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice one of the most incredible game launches of 2019 thus far. The game has performed well on all platforms including PC and we’re excited by the continued support from gamers and critics alike. It has been gratifying to see the enjoyment from fans when they overcome each challenge.”
Despite the array of arguments that sprouted from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice's unforgiving difficulty the numbers do not lie. People love the game and FromSoftware is going strong after leaving the Dark Souls franchise behind for new ideas.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
