Shovel Knight Free DLC Confirmed

If Shovel Knight wasn’t great enough a new update is coming soon, and it’s completely free.

Called the Plague of Shadows players take control of Plague Knight on his quest to create the Serum Supernus, the Ultimate Potion. However he must gather ingredients from his former allies the Knights of Order of No Quarter.

Expect new bosses, an alchemy system, new areas and paths added to the original levels. Yacht Club Games has also confirmed a Challenge Mode which includes speeds run challenges, boss rematches and other rule-benders.

Shovel Knight is currently available for 3DS, Wii U, PS4, PS3, Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Mac and Linux.
