Shovel Knight Goes Gold On Xbox One

Shovel Knight is almost ready for release on Xbox One.

Phil Spence broke the news today on his official Twitter stating that Yacht Club’s praised platform has passed certification. That means the game has gone gold and we should see a release date soon.

The Battletoads will make an appearance in the Xbox One version of Shovel Knight, and Kratos for the PS4 version of the game.

Shovel Knight is a 2D side-scrolling platform game developed by Yacht Club Games that is currently available for the PC, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Ports for the OS X, Linux, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and Xbox One are slated to release later this year. With the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita versions coming out on April 21.
