Smurfs Kart! Announced For Nintendo Switch

French publisher Microids have announced Smurf Kart! for the Nintendo Switch. Interestingly, this isn't the first time that the tiny blue folks from Belgium have raced one another, having previously competed in 2001's Smurf Racer! for the PlayStation 1. A game made by Behaviour Interactive of all studios, a developer now best known for creating multiplayer horror title Dead By Daylight.
 

 

Microids is familiar with the Smurf brand having published 3D-platformer The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf in 2021; and they have also published video games based on the classic French comic strip Astrix the Gaul and adaptations of Agatha Christie novels. Meanwhile Smurf Kart! developers Eden Games has specialized in racing games for over twenty years including the Gear.Club and V-Rally series, and F1 Mobile.
