Bandai Namco may have Dragon Ball FighterZ releasing tomorrow but the publisher has another game in development, SoulCalibur VI. And today a new trailer released showcasing a new fighter called Grøh and older known characters.

The video comes to celebrate the opening of EVO Japan 2018, which will also be playable to the public. The 3 returning faces include Kilik, Xianghua, and series icon Nightmare. Each one sports their iconic weapons in a deadly flare.

Grøh is a newcomer and fights with dual blades that can be combined into a longer polearm. Grøh prefers to be up close and utilize short-range teleportation to knock his opponents off balance.

The trailer also features a new animation where Kilik becomes possessed with the power of Soul Edge and delivers a massive critical blow. This may be a new feature coming to all features, allowing them to use the power of Soul Edge for a temporary power boost.

SoulCalibur VI will release in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
