Splatoon Direct coming May 7th

Nintendo has announce a new Splatoon Direct coming May 7th at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET. 

Right now the only game guaranteed to be shown during the announcement is Nintendo’s upcoming exclusive game Slaptoon.

Splatoon is an upcoming third-person shooter developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii U. It’s scheduled to release on May 28 in Japan and May 29 for the rest of the world. Splatoon will launch with a series of Amiibos that will unlock special missions that give the player unique equipment when completed. 

Splatoon’s amiibo will be available in a single pack that includes Inkling girl, Inkling boy and Inkling Squid and will launch on May 29. Only Inkling boy and Inkling girl will be available for purchase separately.
