Stardew Valley Getting Multiplayer on the Nintendo Switch

Those on the Nintendo Switch have been let out of the multiplayer experience for Stardew Valley but that's changing this week. Developer Concerned Ape has confirmed that multiplayer support will launch this week on Wednesday, December 12th for NA, JP, and EU users.

Supported will include 2-4 players locally or through Nintendo Switch online using existing or new playthroughs. Each player can earn money, have their own cabin, and share resources across each other. Users can use the in-game chat using 200 custom emojis or voice chat through Nintendo Switch online but it wasn't made clear if this is built in voice chat or through the Nintendo Switch online application.

Stardew Valley is now available for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
