This year's GDC just got better for fans of grand strategies as Paradox Interactive has finally announced the release dates for Stellaris and Hearts of Iron IV. Stellaris, which takes the genre to space for the first time in Paradox Entertainment's carreer will be available on the 9th of May. Those who favour all things World War 2 will have to wait a tad longer, until the 6th of June, when Hearts of Iron IV will be unleashed.

If Hearts of Iron is a series with a decent amount of history and prestige, Stellaris means treading new ground for the Swedish studios. Looking at the many developer diaries, which can be found here, the project looks to be quite ambitious with the multiplayer mode, that will support up to 32 players, being just one of the game's highlights.
