Another day, another Gamescom trailer. This time around, it's four minutes of Call Of Cthulhu gameplay that focuses on how Private Investigator Pierce can deal with different challenges Darkwater Island throws his way. When the protagonist encounters the rather unwelcoming Groundkeeper Winchester, he can opt to deal with him in different ways. Dialogue options allow for intimdation, subterfuge, but stealth is also an option.

Depending on Private Investigator Pierce's skills, he can find clues in the environment. The trailer in question shows how Psychology helps him determine a character's attitude from a painting. The last portion is dedicated to reconstruction scenes in which the protagonist pieces events together, offering him more options in future conversations. Check out the trailer on publisher Focus Home Interactive's YouTube channel. Call Of Cthulhu is set to release on October 30th on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
