The Last of Us Part 2 Director Teases The Return of the Fireflies

Sony's E3 press conference has a lot to live up too. One of the titles confirmed for the conference is The Last of Us Part 2 and today Neil Druckmann provided a new image.

The image has a plain statement on it "T-minus 3 weeks" but many are speculating this image is part of the game's trailer or gameplay. Those who played the first game will instantly recognize the symbol as the one belonging to the Fireflies. An organized rebellion group seeking to develop a vaccine to the epidemic. 

At the moment we don't know what role the group will play in the game but if this image is any indicator they'll be a major role in the game.

The Last of Us Part 2 is now in development for PS4.
