The Lawyer - Episode 1: The White Bag Demo Available For Download

ManyDev Studio has confirmed that The Lawyer - Episode 1: The White Bag demo is now available on Steam for download. This first episode, The White Bag, is the first part of an episodic adventure game. It blends an engrossing murder mystery with the traditional drama of a courtroom setting. Players will enter a universe set in the early 1990s and immerse in it as they collect evidence (or fake it! ), make deductions, and engage in intense legal fights.

 

The White Bag features a compelling narrative of the early 1990s when pagers rather than smartphones were the most common form of communication. Decisions will have an impact not just on this current but also on what happens in future episodes.

Just like in real life, The Lawyer features several ways on how cases can be handled. Players can generate various conclusions based on how they interpret evidence, testimonials, and other clues found during the investigation. There are real-time reactions to the testimony being presented in court, including cross-examinations. Players will need to gain the jury's favor to build a reputation.
