If you played The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, you probably remember how much time was required before the story started gaining traction. Well, Shigeru Miyamoto has decided to ensure that doesn't happen with Breath of the Wild.

“We may have told too much story in the beginning of Skyward Sword, and it was hard to get into gameplay, but [in Breath of the Wild] we wanted to make sure even beginners would be able to ride the horse. Even a simple mechanic like riding horses can offer a deep gameplay experience,” Miyamoto told IGN.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launches on March 3rd for Wii U and Nintendo Switch. It'll be the final first-party game for the Wii U.
