The Turing Test and Relicta Coming to Google Stadia
2 new old games coming to Google Stadia
News by Grayshadow on Mar 05, 2020
Recently, Google hired Santa Monica head, Shannon Studstill, to head Google's latest new game studio. Now, the service is adding 2 new games to its small library The Turing Test and Relicta
The Turing Test released back in 2016 to mostly positive reception. This game has you in control of Ava Turing, an engineer at the International Space Station. She must discover what happened to the missing crew on Jupiter's Moon.
Relicta hasn't been released yet and is set for a 2020 release. The game will focus on first-person physics-based gameplay. As the player travels through the secret base of Chandra Base within the Moon.
While the selection isn't bad these games are not exactly service pushers. Google needs a hit to encourage new adaptors and prevent current users from leaving. Sony and Nintendo have a huge selection of exclusives and Microsoft pulling ahead with their own services, Xbox Game Pass and the in-development Project XCloud. And Nvidia's GeForce Now offering a vastly more consumer-friendly system without the need to purchase games.
