THQ Nordic Confirms that Dead Island 2 is Not Cancelled

Do you remember Dead Island? The game that seemingly has been dead for some time but an official sequel was revealed back in 2014, well it's still in development according to THQ Nordic.

During a fiscal call going over the publisher's earnings during the past quarter, THQ Nordic explained that “Dead Island 2 is still being worked on. Stay tuned,” was all that Wingefors had to say about the project though before moving on.

It should be noted that Dead Island 2 was confirmed for PS4, PC, and Xbox One so I could release by 2020. But barely any information has been provided about the game, not even screenshots. This has led many to believe that the game is in development hell. It's also likely one of the many games THQ Nordic has confirmed to have in development.
