Tokyo Game Show 2017 Gameplay Footage of Code Vein Released

After the end of the Dark Souls franchise, Bandai Namco Entertainment enticed fans by releasing a teaser trailer with the hashtag Prepare to Dine back in April. Later Code Vein would be confirmed, an action role-playing game complete with a dark anime atmosphere and vampires. And now we have a new trailer showcasing gameplay and more of the game's story.

A new trailer was released during the TGS 2017 and focuses on the post-apocalyptic vampire-infested wasteland of Code Vein. Players are tasked with defeating a mysterious, as-yet-unnamed Queen who is out to control all of the remaining blood resources in the world. The trailer also gives a better understanding of the gameplay, characters, and a battle between one of the Queen's Knight bosses.

Like Dark Souls Code Vein makes evasion tactics and precision paramount to survival. So basically, roll or die.

Code Vein is set to release in early 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
