Tyranny Announced, Coming Later This Year

After releasing the second part of the White March expansion for Pillars of Eternity, a game which was acclaimed due to its competence as an old-school RPG, Obsidian Entertainment aren't resting and have announced a new game: Tyranny. In Tyranny, the conflict between good and evil has ended and, this time, it's the good guys who ate more fireballs than they could swallow. As an underling to the Overlord Kyros, you'll roam the world enforcing his law.

Judging by the game's website, the choices you make will be instrumental in shaping the world. It's not often you get to play as the bad guys, so, it will be really interesting to follow and see what Obsidian make of Tyranny. Here's hoping the experience they got from Pillars of Eternity will rub off in a good way. Tyranny is set to release sometime this year.
