Ubisoft Reverses Price Hike On Standard Edition of Rainbow Six Siege

After announcing the new retail changes to Rainbow Six Siege Ubisoft was flooded with negative backlash from the gaming community. Called the Advanced Edition this version of the game's price was increased from $40 to $60. Ubisoft has responded and decided to keep the standard edition in the store at the current price.

Ubisoft stated:

For our newcomers and those of you concerned about introducing your friends to the game, we will be keeping the Standard Edition in the store at the current price.

Despite being 2 years old Rainbow Six Siege online community remains active. This primarily done by Ubisoft providing continuous updates in both paid and free content.

Rainbow Six Siege is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
