Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown Coming Next Month

Virtua Fighter was a beloved fighting franchise from SEGA that has gone dormant until now. With Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown coming to PS4 this June 1st.

This version will include updated visuals thanks to the Dragon Engine, It'll be developed by SEGA AM2 and EGG studio and include new background music for the stages, updated UI, a new opening cinematic, and online features such as spectator mode, tournaments, and a lobby system that can host 16 players.

Remade for a new generation of fighting game fans as part of SEGA’s 60th Anniversary project, the definitive edition of the fifth installment in SEGA’s iconic Virtua Fighter series enters the ring on June 1, 2021.

Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown will launch on PS4 digitally this June 1st.
