On Meta Quest 2 this summer, EOLIA, the symphonic fantasy-adventure sequel to the award-winning Rhythm of the Universe series, will unveil a new realm of narrative.

In the follow-up to ROTU Entertainment's highly praised first release IONIA, EOLIA expands on the mythology introduced in IONIA via hand tracking. Players explore the remains of an ancient civilization hidden in the desert and uncover a compelling tale with a timelessly relevant environmentalist message by learning from nature's musical teachings and solving puzzles that help restore harmony to the earth.

Extinction is imminent for Eolia, whose once-green fields have been ravaged by droughts while harsh weather has opened up the sky. To rescue the land from the effects of climate change, we must embrace the world's musical mythology. Adventurer Conga Dholak sets out to mend the storm as you play the role of him. Climb, leap, ride and play instruments while unearthing melodies to restore the universe's underlying rhythms.

Incorporating Meta Quest 2's immersive Hand Tracking technology, EOLIA provides many interactions and straightforward controls built for Hands First VR. Play unique stringed instruments with flicks and pinches. Players can unlock abilities by learning and mastering more than a dozen different flute tunes. They need to keep a notebook to keep track of their escapades. They can open their hands to see their inventory and add goods to the satchel. Break over barriers and storms by climbing ladders, ropes, and ledges or riding a stallion with the reins in your hands. In Conga's battle against global warming, your body is your instrument.

"Unlike the endless worlds we explore in gaming, in reality, we only have one planet to call our own," said Jason Parks, ROTU CEO. "Through VR's ability to truly transport us and instill a tangible sense of place, we hope to inspire people to see the beauty in our natural world and consider brave actions in their daily lives."

Through in-game teaching, each game in the series contributes to vital causes. Contributions from EOLIA will go to a non-profit organization battling climate change, thanks to ROTU Entertainment's altruistic filmmakers, singers, and visual artists. A symphony of storyliving continues this summer on Meta Quest 2 with English voice and text support, with other language localizations expected after the game's release.
