The patch introducing Season 1 also increases XP rewards of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr's maps.

In the grim darkness of the far future there is no shortage of things to purge. That couldn't be truer of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, which receives a new faction today, as part of an update that also kicks off its first season. Titled "Drukhari", Season 1 adds the Dark Elves, everyone's favorite raiders, to the mix. Inquisitors heading to the Triglav Sector should expect to face Succubi, Kabalite Warriors, Pain Engines and a few other variety of Dark Elf opponents.
The update also increases the Inquisitorial Rank and Item Level Caps as well as experience earned from both campaign and random maps. New investigations, perks and tarot cards have also been added. You can have a look at the announcement on the developer's site for all the info and a short trailer. When I reviewed Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, I found it lacking in a number of departments. While I'm not sure a new faction should have been a priority, the increased XP sounds like one step towards a more rewarding progression.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is currently available on PC and will release on consoles on August 23rd, 2018.
