Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Arrives On PS4 This December

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is making its way to the PS4 on December 18th, developer Fatshark announced today. If you're itching for some co-op rat slaying action right away, the closed beta is now live. You can sign up using this form for a chance at getting access. The beta runs three maps and progress carries on to the full version at launch. The announcement post also mentions pre-orders for the PS4 version going live, however at the time of writing the only Vermintide that's on the PlayStation Store is the original.

Regardless, the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Ultimate Pre-Order Edition contains the following:

• Instant Closed Beta Access
• Sigmar Keep Statue
• Helmgart Heraldry Themed Skins
• 2x Portrait Frame
• 6x Exclusive Heroic Deeds
• Shadows over Bögenhafen DLC
• Back to Übersreik DLC

That's a handful of cosmetics alongside both available DLCs. If you haven't caught up, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a co-op action title where you play as one of five heroes set on stopping ratmen and Chaos Warriors. Think Left 4 Dead but with fewer guns and more tools for slashing, stabbing and crushing. Teamwork is absolutely vital and the game certainly doesn't lack in intense moments.
