Fable once was and still is a game about which a lot of boasting is uttered from Lionhead Studios. The first game took quite some time to prepare, but it felt like so much more when every aspect was glorified as a revolution. ‘Project Ego’ promised to create the most open-ended RPG ever created, but the finished product limited a lot of that glory. A lot of people felt a little short-handed because of it and so did Jo-Remi Madsen at RoflGames.
Lychfield Graveyard
The imminent launch of Fable III spurred him to start a demake tribute to the franchise, in which he hopes to improve a lot of things that went wrong. Not only that, but he will even try and implement some of the promises that were downright excluded from the game, such as the Real-time Vegetation Growth and Weapon Pickups.
He’s working on improving some features in this pixelated homage and so far he’s tackled the Fishing System. Incorporating features from Ocarina Of Time and Sega Bass Fishing, he’s trying to create a more challenging and fluent system.
Fabelicious Fishing System
He’ll also be working on the economy balance from Fable II. By tweaking that system and combining it with the fishing aspect of the demake, he hopes to create more synergy between the two.
The deadline for a demonstration will fall on the same date as the Fable III release, which is due in two weeks. Daav, for one, is anticipating the pixel version even more than the actual Lionhead release!
P-p-p-pixel power!

It seems I might've gotten it wrong, as the video states "Project Fableous" to be the name. I'll wait on confirmation.
It's been confirmed the official name is 'Fableous'.
